ハダカカメガイ、通称「クリオネ」です。獲物が来ると、頭部に収まっている「バッカルコーン」という触手を伸ばして狩りをする、その変貌ぶりも有名です。私は、このバッカルコーンをとても美しいと思っていますし、美しさと不穏さみたいなものはいつも表裏一体だと感じています。
 
This is the *Clione limacina*, commonly known as the "sea angel." It is famous for its dramatic transformation when hunting: upon spotting prey, it extends tentacles known as "buccal cones" from within its head. I find these buccal cones truly beautiful, and I feel that beauty and an unsettling quality are always two sides of the same coin.
