よく通る道で見かける泰山木の花。
蜜蝋の質と絵の具が作る偶然の表情と、細やかな描写がいいバランスで響き合う絵にしたいと思って描きました。
初夏の空気、たっぷり茂った葉の中に咲く、大きく白い花の堂々とした様子を感じていただけたら嬉しいです。
 
I often see the flowers of the Southern Magnolia along the road I frequently travel.
I created this painting aiming for a harmonious balance between the texture of the beeswax, the spontaneous effects created by the paint, and the fine, detailed rendering.
I hope you can sense the atmosphere of early summer and the majestic presence of those large, white blossoms blooming amidst the lush foliage.
